Essay on Rakshabandhan..
Rakshabandhan is a festival to celebrate the beautiful and cute relation between brother and sister. Raksha means ' to protect' and Bandhan means 'bondage'. It is a ritual of never-ending love between brother and sister.
In India ,It is celebrated with joy and happiness. On Raksha bandhan ,sister ties 'rakhi' (an ornamental wristband)on the wrist of her brother and brother promises his sister to protect her from evils and bleakness. He also gives gift to his sister as a blessing. We all know ,how cute this relation is. neither brother nor sister misses a moment to irritate each other but when it comes to life, they are always there to help each other to get out of problems .
Life of a brother without sister is boring , dissolate and dull but with them it is annoying and irritating; that's the beauty of this relation. That's why is is said " A brother can give kidney to his sister if it is needed but he will never give remote of the TV when his sister asks for it".😄Isn't it interesting.
In India, women also tie rakhi to the soldiers and honour them. As we know ,soldiers protect us from the terrorist attack or any other problem .Although their is no blood relationship between them ,they are performing the duty of a brother. Hence , women regard them as their brother and tie them rakhi . That's the beauty of this festival.
So, in this way ,It is celebrated all over India with delightment and cheerfulness.
Hope you like this essay .✌✌
